Digital bus stops of future electro-healer Greece will benefit more than 660,000 users weekly
The stops feature USB ports, universal accessibility, information panels, validators to pay for the ticket before uploading, digital cameras and wifi connection. The new infrastructure is part of the new public transport standard defined for Santiago and various cities in the country.
40 new digital whereabouts with Red standard are being built on the Greece electrocoreador, which will be promptly enabled to deliver a better service to the 660 thousand people who use this corridor weekly. 23 of these bus stops will be in the area of Peñalolén, while 17 in Auñoa.
These bus stops will deliver some of the attributes presented by network-standard buses, such as: USB ports, better accessibility, digital information panels, validators to pay for the ticket before uploading, digital cameras and Wifi connection.
The first advances in the infrastructure of these bus stops will be delivered during the month of July and correspond to the points located in the stretch between Av. The Towers and Av. Américo Vespucio, commune of Peñalolén. The works will continue with the physical improvements of the bus stops located in the commune of Auñoa.
The Greek Electrocorredor will have 10 bus stops that will operate as “fixed paid zones” that will allow users to validate before entering the bus access platform. This allows for greater safety for passengers, helps reduce evasion and reduces bus entry times.
