Rates
Remember that Santiago’s public transport system is trimodal, because it groups three different modes of transport: buses, subway and MetroTren Nos. The only means of payment to travel in any of these modes is the bip! card, which also allows an integrated trip, that is, you can mobilize in all three modes (making up to two transfers) with a single payment for a period of 2 hours (120 minutes), from the beginning of the first stage of the trip or first bip! (in the same direction and without repetition of bus routes). You can use one of the transfers in subway and another in the MetroTren Nos system.
Low Rates
If your trip starts by subway or MetroTren Nos between 6:00 and 6:59 hours or between 20:45 and 23:00 hours (low fare by subway), your ticket will cost $640. If after you have traveled by subway and/or MetroTren Nos on the same schedule you combine with buses you will be deducted the balance to complete the system fee of $700.

Rates "Valle"
If your trip on subway or MetroTren Nos takes place during “Valle” hours, i.e. monday through friday, between 09:00 and 17:59 hours, or from 20:00 to 20:44 hours, it will be worth $720, as well as on saturdays, sundays and bank holidays. When combining at that time with buses, the cost of the transfer will be $0. The “Valle” fare only for subway and MetroTren Nos is $720 pesos.

Rates Prime Time
During prime time hours, between 7:00 and 8:59 hrs. and between 18:00 and 19:59 hours, when you pass your card through any validator on subway and/or MetroTren Nos you will pay us $800. Given the above, it is important to keep in mind that the value of the ticket in subway and MetroTren Nos varies depending on the time you travel, while the bus ticket has the same cost at any time of the day ($700). Then, by subway or MetroTren Nos your low schedule ticket is worth $640, in time “Valle” $720 and at rush hour $800.

Student Rate
The rate for middle and higher education students is worth $230. Students are eligible for the same integration benefits as the normal rate, i.e. up to two transfers in up to 120 minutes. In case of combining during rush hour with subway and /or MetroTren We do not cancel additional cost.
Students can use this benefit 24 hours a day and 7 days a week throughout the year.

bip! card Adulto Mayor
From July 2020, the bip! rate Adulto Mayor will be $350,a value that corresponds to 50% of the normal rate that is currently in effect. This fare applies to all public transport regardless of the number of combinations or modes used during the journey and will apply at all times (“Valle”, low and prime time). To make use of this benefit in the Public Transport System of Santiago you must obtain the bip! card. Adulto Mayor that can be withdrawn in all branches of Chile Serves and Compensation Boxes, once its face-to-face delivery is enabled.
In a first stage and for the duration of the pandemic, the bip! card application will be enabled. Older adult in www.tarjetabip.cl using the unique key. For all purposes, this credential is personal and non-transferable.

Subway Preferential Rate
The preferential rate on subway for older adults is $230. This rate applies only on subway and at all times (“Valle”, low and prime time) using the Adulto Mayor Card (TAM), which can be purchased directly from subway Customer Service Offices.

With this card you can make trips without restrictions. Men and women over the age of 65 who receive a planned pension, attendance or retirement may obtain this card.
Emergency Journey
Emergency Travel is a benefit that allows you to travel on public transport buses even if you don’t have a balance on your bip! card. How? You just validate your bip! card when boarding the bus and the balance owed will be deducted on your next charge.
You will be able to make use of the emergency trip again after charging your bip! card. The emergency trip is only valid on buses, because if you travel on subway or MetroTren Nos you can charge us your bip! card at the ticket office. You can make use of this benefit 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
The emergency journey is activated to count from the second charge of your bip! card.
